Notes and iCloud

Your notes are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, Hi Sticky stores and synchronizes them through Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services associated with your Apple Account. Hi Sticky does not operate a separate server that receives or stores your note content.

Spotlight and Note Search

If you turn on Include Notes in Spotlight, Hi Sticky adds your notes to a private Core Spotlight index on that device. This lets Spotlight find your notes and powers Ask Hi Sticky. You can turn the setting off at any time; Hi Sticky then removes its notes from that index.

Apple Intelligence

Note Assist and Ask Hi Sticky use Apple’s on-device language model on supported devices. Ask Hi Sticky searches only the notes returned from your device’s private Spotlight index and displays the source notes used for a generated answer. Questions and note contents are not sent to our servers.

Capture to Note uses Apple Intelligence image understanding. Depending on the system capability you select, Apple may process the image on device or with Private Cloud Compute. Hi Sticky does not send the image or resulting note content to our servers.

Diagnostics and usage statistics

Hi Sticky may send anonymous crash reports and basic app usage statistics to third-party diagnostics services. These reports are intended to help identify crashes and understand broad feature use. They do not include the note content you enter in the app.

Your choices

• You can disable iCloud for Hi Sticky in Apple system settings.
• You can turn off Include Notes in Spotlight in Hi Sticky Settings.
• You can choose not to use Apple Intelligence features.
• You can delete notes and empty Trash from within Hi Sticky.
