Information ChimeSet handles
ChimeSet stores the alarm sets, titles, schedules, sound choices, voice choices, and preferences you create so it can provide alarms and reminders. Quick Alarms, current running state, and app preferences are stored locally on your device.
Imported custom sounds are stored in ChimeSet's app container or shared app-group container so the app, widgets, and system alarm features can use them. They are not uploaded to Haha Interactive.
iCloud sync
When iCloud Sync is on, alarm-set definitions are stored through Apple's CloudKit service in your iCloud account so they can appear on your Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Haha Interactive does not use this data for advertising, analytics, or profiling. You can turn iCloud Sync off in ChimeSet settings and keep alarm sets locally.
Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's privacy policy and the terms associated with your Apple Account.
Calendar access
Calendar access is optional. If you enable calendar exclusions, ChimeSet reads the calendars you select on your device to identify dates containing all-day events and skip alarms on those dates. ChimeSet does not upload calendar events to Haha Interactive.
Notifications, alarms, and Live Activities
ChimeSet uses Apple system services such as alarms, notifications, widgets, and Live Activities to deliver the alarms you schedule and show what is coming next. These features process your alarm information on your device and through the Apple services required by the operating system.
Purchases
The optional one-time unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. ChimeSet receives the purchase entitlement needed to unlock features, but Haha Interactive does not receive your payment-card details.
Support and feedback
When you choose to email Haha Interactive, your email address, message, and any information you include are received and used to answer your request. ChimeSet does not send support information unless you initiate the message.
Your choices
You can turn off iCloud Sync, choose Notifications instead of Alarms where supported, revoke calendar or notification permission in system settings, delete alarms and custom sounds in ChimeSet, or delete the app and its local data. Data stored in iCloud can be managed through your Apple Account and iCloud settings.
Children's privacy
ChimeSet is a general-audience productivity app and does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated service.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated when ChimeSet's features or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when an update is published.
