Good to know

Questions before installing.

What is ChimeSet best for?

Quick one-time reminders, hourly time checks, structured work routines, presentations, classes, recurring checkpoints, Pomodoro sessions, and any workflow where timing matters.

Can ChimeSet read alarm titles aloud?

Yes. ChimeSet can read an alarm's title after its sound, or read the title by itself when alarm sound is off. Voice alarms can also announce time or elapsed duration.

Can I create a one-time alarm without making an alarm set?

Yes. Quick Alarms schedule a local one-time alert after a chosen number of minutes or at a time of day, without using an alarm-set slot.

Does ChimeSet sync across Macs?

iCloud Sync keeps alarm-set definitions available across Macs signed in with the same Apple ID. Turn it off to keep alarm sets on one Mac. Quick Alarms always remain local.
